For rentals, NearbyRents does not handle your money. You agree the amount with the owner and pay them directly — cash, UPI, or whatever suits you both — so there is no middleman holding your payment.
Sports grounds work differently, because an hour has to be reserved before you turn up. A venue can ask you to pay online when you book, and that payment goes through a payment gateway rather than through us — we never see or store your card details. Each venue also shows its own refund terms before you confirm.
